Do we have to download an app?

No! All you have to do is visit https://elfshelfregister.com/ and login to the online cash register.  Login information will be provided 1 month before the store starts.

Does the online register work on all devices?

Yes, it works on phones (Apple/Android), tablets, laptop and desktop computers. It is compatible on all devices. (see video above)

Do we have to provide our own device?

Yes, your school will need to provide its own device(s). The platform works on phones (Apple and Android), tablets, laptops, and desktop computers. It is fully compatible across all devices. (See video above.) 

Do we have login information?

Yes, we will e-mail login information to the chairperson of the store 1 month before Natalie's Holiday Shop starts. 

Can we track redeemed eWallets?

Yes, The back end of the online register shows all redeemed eWallets and the remaining balance for each student account. 

Can we add multiple cashiers?

Yes, you can add as many cashiers as you’d like. Once added, they will receive an email with step-by-step instructions on how to log in.

One of Natalie’s Holiday Shop favorite features is the ability to assign different roles to volunteers. For example, a chairperson can be set as an Administrator with access to everything, while a new volunteer can be assigned strictly as a Cashier, limiting their access so they cannot view any back-end information.

What forms of payment can we take?

We accept cash, checks, eWallet, and credit cards.

If paying by check, please make all checks payable to your school.  

Is the process fast to check students out through the online register?

Super fast! We also provide training videos two months before your  store opens, so you’ll feel fully confident running the register system.  

Can we see our total sales?

Yes, on the back end of the online register, you’ll be able to  view your total sales for each day. You can also download reports in PDF  or CSV format. 

Can we make returns through the online register?

Yes, you can make returns through our online cash register.

If we chose a certain is it already set in the online register?

Yes, the percentage you selected when you signed up for 2026 is  what your online cash register will already be set to. You can also  verify this in the back end of your register.  

Does it take internet/WiFi to run the online cash register?

Yes, the online cash register requires an active internet/Wi-Fi connection to process transactions and sync sales data.  

Do you offer WiFi Packs?

Yes, we do offer Verizon Wi-Fi packs if your  school has poor internet service and needs one. Please request a Wi-Fi  pack when you sign up for 2026.

The  Wi-Fi pack can run multiple devices and covers up to 1,500 sq. ft. A  $50 fee will be added to your invoice at the end of the store for the  Wi-Fi pack.

Wi-Fi packs are shipped with the store, and a return shipping label will be provided.

Can we place re-stock orders through the online register?

Yes, you can place a re-order through our online cash register.

How do we get our invoice through the online register?

Once Natalie’s Holiday Shop is complete, you’ll submit your billing form through our online register. An invoice will be emailed to you within 1–2 business days. We accept payment via ACH or check. 

Can we request our Fed-Ex shipping labels through the online register as well?

Yes, you will submit your Fed-Ex label request through the online  register and the return shipping labels will be e-mailed to you directly.

What is eWallet? Cashless Shopping for Your School Holiday Shop

No more Cash lost in backpacks! It works just like a gift card! At Natalie's Elf Shelf ® Holiday Store, kids shop without cash thanks to eWallet. Family and friends contribute funds online. Then kids choose their own gift items. It’s convenient, simple, and secure.

How do we let our parents know about eWallet?

The eWallet form will be sent home with every child. The form has directions and information on how to upload funds for their child to shop. The form must be brought back and presented at checkout. If the child does misplace their form. No worries! The volunteers can look it up on the back end of our online cash register to verify.

How do parents/guardians upload funds to their child eWallet/Gift Card Accounts?

It is super EASY and FAST! They will go to www.elfshelfwallet.com and create an account to upload funds! If they have multiple children at the same school or even a different school. They can still use the same account for each child. All they have to do is click "add child" on the parent portal dashboard. It works just like a gift card!

eWallet Balance & Refund Policy

Any eWallet balance remaining at the end of the shop will be credited back to the school as a 100% donation. If a parent/guardian would like a refund for a remaining balance due to:

  • their child being sick and unable to shop, or

  • dissatisfaction with an item purchased

we are happy to help. Please email support@elfshelfholidaystore.com to request a refund.

Families are asked to ensure that each child spends all of the money uploaded to their eWallet. This policy will be:

  • communicated to each school prior to the store opening, and

  • printed on every eWallet form sent home.

The online cash register allows us to see which students have not redeemed their full eWallet balance. We ask that school volunteers help ensure all students spend their available funds before the store closes.

Please remember: Natalie’s Elf Shelf® Holiday Store is a seasonal business and visits each school only once per year. Refunds are issued only if:

  • a child was sick and did not get to shop, or

  • a customer is unhappy with a product.

Does the parents get a receipt after they upload funds with eWallet?

Yes! They will get a receipt emailed to them immediately.

Is the eWallet free to the school?

The eWallet program is free to the school but there is a small   transaction fee to the parents/guardians. We charge a flat processing fee of $1.50 for $0-$25 transactions and 6% processing fee for $25 and up transactions.  

Does the Chairperson have Access to the Reports?

The chairperson can view all transactions through the online cash register.
Login information will be emailed to the chairperson one month prior to the store opening.

eWallet Report includes:

  • Student Name

  • Grade

  • Teacher

  • Supporter Name (parent/guardian who uploaded funds)

  • Amount Added ($)

  • Time and Date

  • eWallet ID Code

  • Amount Redeemed

  • Remaining Balance

Do we have to offer eWallet?

No! eWallet is only a service that we offer to our schools. If   your school does not want to participate in our eWallet Program. Please  opt out when asked on our 2026 Sign-Up form.   

Do you offer WiFi Packs?
